Re: Bulk Deactivate Courses?
Great question, you'll probably want to take a look at using the Course Updater tool: . This tool will have to be added to one of your Navbars to be able to find. It is a rather slick way to search for and update course's settings such as Start Dates, End Dates, and Active status.

@Jim.G.403 Hi Jim, the accordions and cards are already set to 100% width in the CSS, so where they are placed in your HTML will make the difference. They will expand to be 100% of whichever container they are in. You might need to delete some divs in your HTML code or move the accordions/cards outside of divs that have larger left and right margins or padding.

After multiple attempts, I discovered (thanks to your help) the "Browse Question Library" button inside the New Question Pool creator. It was not immediately visible (had to scroll down to see it), which threw me off. Now that I know it's there, this will be easy for future tests.
I appreciate the quick response and help.

Word count limit in written response quiz questions
I would like to limit the word count in written response questions. Is there a way to do this?

March 2025/20.25.03 Preview Release Notes are now live and ready for review! 🔍️
Please note, this is only a preview for the upcoming Brightspace version, which we will begin to roll out on March 6, 2025. All features described are subject to change before then.
The February 2025/20.25.02 Release Notes have been republished to include the following change:
- 13-February-2025 Updated the LTI – Remove grade associations from graded LTI content topics | Updated feature to clarify the availability conditions.
New upcoming changes have also been added to the High Impact Changes Timeline.

Definitely agree with both Melanie and Steve's comments. I understand the rationale for bringing this in and that it helps to ensure legislation (?) that allows users to unsubscribe from comms without need to log into the system. But the current solution is unworkable and likely to negatively impact students to miss important announcements because they've inadvertently unsubscribed from everything. I think discussion with the user community is definitely needed before implementing something like this.

I have very similar concerns. I could accept it if it also introduced an option in the announcements tool to also send an email regardless of notification settings, but as described in the release notes there are a lot of unintended consequences to this one. Or perhaps if it only unsubscribed from a single class of notifications - I wouldn't want somebody getting overwhelmed with new/updated content notifications accidentally also blocking announcements for example.
