Rubrics - changing default score when selecting the level
Hi everyone,
When grading using the rubrics tool, the max score for a level will be set by default, for the selected level for each criterion. Can the default score be pre-set by instructor to use the minimum or other score for that level? Eg. in the screenshot below, when the 'Excellent' level is selected, instead of 100, can we preset it to 80 or 90? Thanks for any advice!
Pulse App - Upcoming events issue
In the pulse app Upcoming section, only events in the first week are shown.
The events were added in the calendar widget with a weekly repeat, but only the initial event is shown, none of the weekly repeated events are being displayed in the pulse app.
Re: Blogs + Students
Hi Michael,
Yes, the Blog tool can be enabled for any Brightspace role as required. This is done using the following role permissions
The Blog tool itself cannot be configured for assessment tasks, in a similar way that you can create graded discussions. However, students could be asked to create a public blog post and share the link as part of an assessment activity. Alternatively, the Instructor can add student blogs to their Blog Watch and monitor for posts.
In addition to the blog permissions link above other useful documentation includes:
Hope that helps!

Re: Exceeding the total points on an Assignment
@Sta.R.643 You can give students more points than the maximum points on assignments, but make sure to check Can Exceed on the grade item in the grade book before publishing grades (if you want to allow scores above 100%).
Re: Known Issues List Updates
A new version of the Known Issues List is now available. The most recently added known issues are flagged as *New*.
Re: I want to know will my books for my Paralegal class be delivered to my home address
Hi Lakesha
This question does not appear to be something the Brightspace Community would be able to address. Typically the resources you are accessing via Brightspace are online/digital in nature. Any hardcopy resources would be external to the Learning Platform and you would have to raise this question with the course's instructor (or whomever you made such arrangements with).
Best regards
Matt
