Re: Known Issues List Updates
I second Ryan's thoughts! This change would be very useful to administrators.
Re: Known Issues List Updates
@Ryan.K.8539 Thank you for the feedback. We’re glad to hear that the downloadable list and flags are making things easier. We've discussed your idea internally - it's a great suggestion. While it’s not currently part of our workflow, it’s definitely something we’re keeping in mind as we continue to enhance the experience. We truly appreciate your input and look forward to bringing even more improvements your way.
Re: Known Issues List Updates
Thank you so much for considering this!
I'm just selfishly trying to save myself a few clicks in my day ;). I'm excited to see what changes come in the future.
Thanks again for your time and help!
Quiz section grades
I have a quiz with 6 sections. Is there a way that I can have each section be graded seperatly from the whole quiz. for example the quiz has a section called Safety which has 7 questions and a section called rigging with 4 questions. I would like for the student to know what grade they achieved in each section.
Thanks Darren.
Service-to-service authentication?
We want to automate some processes using the Brightspace API, without the need for a human to log in (because the automation process will be running on a server).
Does Brightspace have a process for service-to-service (S2S) authentication? To reiterate, we need to integrate with Brightspace's API without user interaction, using something like the client credentials OAuth 2.0 flow.
I can authenticate and get an access token if I log in as a user, but I can't find any documentation on how to authenticate machine-to-machine.
Thanks,
Richard
Access Brightspace API using client credentials flow
API eg: https://peelpd.brightspace.com/d2l/api/le/1.41/1111/calendar/events/
I tried to generate access token on postman using client credential flow but getting following error.
Error: invalid_request, Description: Missing "client_assertion" parameter
Following article describe how to access API use Authorization flow but we need to use client credentials flow to create our own API

OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials Flow Support for Brightspace (M2M)
Is there any support for OAuth 2.0 flows other than Authorization Code Grant (preferably Client Credentials flow)? I'm needing support for fully headless automation, and the need for a user to log in with a browser in order to get an initial authorization code doesn't make sense for a fully automated environment. Private Key JWT authentication would work, or perhaps Client Secret authentication. Any current support or upcoming support?
Re: How do you make the description of a check list visible to all users?

Code Blocks with Copy Button
Hi there,
I recently dicovered that you can add various type of code to code blocks using the Brightspace Editor. However, there does not seem to be a copy button with which you can also copy the code within the code blocks to the clipboard. Is this by design?
I my humble opinion it would be worthwhile to have a (optional) copy button so that users can copy the code, for instance a specific HTML markup and insert this HTMl markup to their HTML pages using the Insert Stuff option of the Editor by choosing the option embed code.
What are your thought on this issue?
Kind regards,
Arman
BS locking up while trying to save
Over the past few weeks, BS has been locking up and going to a greyed-out screen when I am trying to save feedback. It has happened with different browsers, different courses, different assignments, and different networks.
