Recording lenght limit?

Hello

Is there a way to limit the length of a recording a student can record and send inside a quiz? I'm trying to get my students to send their responses in audio format, but I can't find a way to set up the length. I don't want them to ramble, so I need to set up a max time.

Do you know if this could be done at the admin level, only for a specific course at least?

    The recording durations limits are controlled by the config d2l.Tools.MediaPlatform.RecordingDurationLimit ( for the video note) and d2l.Tools.AudioCapture.MaxDuration for Audio Note and Record Audio workflow, seconds.

    Please note that the d2l.Tools.AudioCapture.MaxDuration config variable has access restrictions. To update this config, please reach out to our Support Helpdesk with this request and the reason for it.

    To open a support case, please follow the steps outlined in this article. If you are not an ASC (as mentioned in the article), please contact your organization's LMS admin/ASC to open the case on your behalf.
