Learner Awards Widget only displays Badges, not Certificates

Why don't my Certificates appear in the Learner Awards Widget? Only Badges appear in the "Available Awards" tab. This is especially confusing since the Awards tool in the classroom shows both Certificates and Badges as available. In Brightspace, the term Awards seems to encompass both badges and certificates, but the Awards widget only displays one. This makes it seem to a learn that the course has no Certificate available.

Am I missing a setting to make Certificates appear in this homepage widget? This is unrelated to release conditions as the badges have unmet release conditions and still appear under "Available Awards" in the widget.

    Hello @Caitlin(Caitie).B.821, thanks for your question!

    I checked our documentation to confirm that at this time, only Badges will in the widget, so Certificates aren't available at this time.

    I did find a PIE item for this (HERE) if you'd like to add your vote and any comments in support of the feature request.

    Thank you, @Stephen.R.50 , for confirming my suspicion. I have voted for the PIE item, but I don't have much hope since it is from 2023 with little traction. I will refrain from using the widget going forward. Appreciate your comment!
