Students not enrolled in a group

I use student self enrolled groups in nearly all my classes. I would like to send out an email to all students that have not enrolled as a reminder (or have one automatically sent). Is there a way to do this?

    Hi @Ron.E.558 ,

Thanks for reaching out to us through the community!

You can use the Intelligent Agent feature in Brightspace to achieve the scenario you described. Intelligent Agents allow you to automate actions, such as sending reminder emails or tracking user activity, based on specific criteria you define.

For step-by-step guidance on how to set up and use Intelligent Agents, please refer to the following documentation from Brightspace:

Please let me know if you face any difficulties.

    Thanks,

@Ron.E.558 Normally you would use Intelligent Agents to automatically send emails to students based on certain criteria, but unfortunately the release condition is just for group enrollment and there isn't an option for "not a member of a group".

You can, however, export your classlist from the gradebook and check the box for group membership. The spreadsheet will have columns for each group category and the name of the group(s) that the student is enrolled in will be specified. If the cell is blank, the student has not enrolled in any group within that category.
