Is anyone else having issues with the module thumbnails on their course home?
I am an ID and have been working on designing an online course in BrightSpace. I currently have photos on the description of the modules so that they show up on the course home thumbnails (see below).
At the moment all the thumbnails show up as the course banners though I have different photos for each. When I go into the module and return to the course home they show for a short period then revert to the course banner (as you see in the screenshot). Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
Is there a fix?

I see the same issue intermittently. It appears to work in Chrome, but not Firefox at the moment. Interested to see if there is a fix as well.

The default widget behaviour is something that is controlled/managed by your institutions Brightspace administrator. Please connect with your institutions support team in the first instance to see if anything has changed at a higher level. If necessary they can connect with the D2L Support team to investigate the issues being experienced with the Visual Table of Contents widget.
Before doing so if possible check the widget configuration settings covered in the following 2 resources. Depending on your level of access/role permissions one of the resources will be more relevant than the other e.g. Admin vs Instructor. See

I'm an Admin at my college and I can confirm this behavior. It's not something we have set up. Whatever the image faculty puts in the description of a module should show in that module thumbnail. I am seeing the banner being repeated in the modules even though they have their own images.
