Issue with Imported Quizzes Question Pools from Blackboard Learn 9.1

Our university is transitioning from Blackboard Learn 9.1 to Brightspace, an instructor asked the following question: "I have a Quiz that is made up of mostly QUESTION POOLs. I want to get the questions into the Question Library. How do I do that? I tried going into the Question Library and do an Import from the quiz but it doesn’t see the actual questions (because they are in a pool). Do I have to export to a tool like Respondus and then import?" I would appreciate your assistance. Thank you.

If the quiz questions are stored within Question Pools in Blackboard, one option is to export the Question Pools directly from Blackboard and then import them into the Question Library in Brightspace.

Alternatively, you may export the entire Blackboard course as a Common Cartridge package and import it into Brightspace. Depending on the content and export settings, this may also bring the quiz questions into the Question Library.

Using Respondus is another viable option. You can export the questions from Blackboard into Respondus, then publish them or import them into Brightspace.

I would recommend first attempting a direct export of the Question Pools or a Common Cartridge export, as these approaches may be simpler and require fewer steps than using a third-party tool.
