Copy to Other Courses (Announcements). What access does this give instructors?
I’m looking for some clarification on the “Copy to Other Courses” permission for the Announcements tool.
Currently, this option is not enabled for our Instructor role, and before making any changes I’d like to better understand what enabling it would allow. My understanding is that it would let instructors copy announcements into other courses where they are enrolled, such as multiple sections they teach, but not into courses where they don’t have access.
Can anyone confirm whether this is correct, and whether enabling this would allow instructors to search for or copy into any courses beyond those they are enrolled in? I’d also appreciate any insights on limitations or considerations before enabling it.

I just ran a test for this and confirmed that an instructor will only be able to copy an announcement/news item to a course offering in which they are enrolled as the instructor. They won't be able to access a course which they don't have a direct instructor enrollment in.
