How do I set up a rubric where different criteria have different levels?

What do I do if criterion 1 has 4 levels but criterion 4 only has 3? Example: Criterion 1 is for evidence, so the full marks are for all required sources being present, then level 3 is most are present, level 2 has less than half present, and level 1 is no sources present or properly cited. But then Criterion 4 is for MLA Format, where they get full marks for correct formatting, then half-credit for some of it being correct, and then no marks for complete wrong or missing formatting. Canvas has the ability to do this, but we're switching to Brightspace and I'm very frustrated. Here's an image of a rubric from Canvas that I want to use the same way for Brightspace:

    Hi Brittany,

You can add a criterion group to the rubric to acheive the outcome you're after. This is useful, as in your use case, when you need a rubric to accomodate different levels and points. The option to add a Add Criterion Group is only available in Analytic Rubrics.

    Hope that helps!

Thank you so much! I will play around with that and see if it works for me.
