Announcement Emails

When creating an announcement in a course, the instructor doesn't see an option to send a copy to the students' email. How do you enable this? Or is it up to the student to enable that notification?

    Hello @Christopher.S.637, thanks for your question!

    There's a permission you'll want to enable to allow your instructors to send an email copy of the Announcement.

    From your Roles & Permissions page for the instructor role, filter by Announcements. On the bottom you'll find "Send Email Copy" which can be enabled for the Course Offering org unit type.
