What approaches are you using for course templates or layouts in Brightspace?

We’re beginning an early exploration of using a master course shell or standardized layout in Brightspace to support consistency across online courses at my institution. I’m curious whether others are using master shells, shared navigation, or HTML templates, and how prescriptive or optional these are for instructors. If anyone is willing to share examples or lessons learned, I’d really appreciate it!
