Bulk Update IA Email Language

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a way to centrally manage the email content sent via Intelligent Agents across multiple course offerings. Usually, we use the LOR for this kind of thing or put content in an H5P page that we can embed in Brightspace so that a single update pushes out to all courses, but IAs aren't supported by the LOR, and H5P elements in the email body disappear once sent. Has anyone found a way to 'update once' so that the change reflects in the emails sent by IAs across all sections?

    Hello Alexa, thanks for your question!

    Unfortunately Brightspace does not have a way to bulk update Intelligent Agents, either within the user interface itself, or through API calls.

    If I were assisting with something such as this, I would probably pull the 'Intelligent Agent Objects' Brightspace Data Set to identify the agents that need to be updated, and are in currently active/still in-use courses. Then you could quickly switch between courses using the Org Unit ID field. You may want to do a lookup of the Org Unit ID with the 'Organizational Units' Brightspace Data Set as well to match up the course name and code.

    Hopefully this provides a potential option to get you through the updates.
