Exclude Course Merchant search results based on keywords

Is there a way to exclude certain Course Merchant search results based on keywords? Alternatively, does the keyword field in the admin interface support Boolean operators (e.g., NOT, -term)? We’re encountering cases where relevant terms in product descriptions cause unwanted or irrelevant courses to appear at the top of search results when looking for other courses.
