unable to open documents

hello,

i just signed up for this course and i downloaded all of the materials and none of them cn be opened.  i see from other queries this is a "google" issue.  How are we to access these documents for us to get the best benefit of the course?  It is not acceptable to simply blame google.  We need access to these documents.

I appreciate your response.  I am not attached to a company.  I am an independant taking this course so there is no IT department for me to access.  I have some friends who tought me how to change the PDFs into HTML documents which enables me to at least read the content.
