How to setup Non-Numeric Grade Schemes & Rubric Alignment?
I am working with an instructor who would like a completely non-numeric Pass/Fail workflow. I am looking into two specific areas and wanted to check if there are any known workarounds.
First, is it possible to create a Grade Scheme in D2L that does not require a "Start %"? My understanding is that even for a simple Pass/Fail scheme, the system typically relies on defining backend percentage ranges (e.g., 0-49% = Fail). I am looking for a way to remove these percentages entirely so the scheme is purely symbol-based.
Second, what is the best way to set up the rubric so it functions as Pass/Fail? If a numeric range is indeed required for the Grade Scheme, what is the best way to align the rubric with those numeric ranges to ensure the grade populates correctly?
