I'm eager to hear from anyone else who has both:
- the Brightspace Course Connector for Microsoft Teams
- users with mixed case email addresses (e.g. First.Last@example.edu)
If you do have both, will Course Connector still create teams for course instructors who have mixed-case email addresses? Will the test tools within ShuffleExchange still successfully look up mixed-case email addresses/UPNs in your Entra ID?
It seems that sometime during the last few months, Course Connector for Microsoft Teams began requiring that email addresses in my university's learning environment be all-lowercase. We must have first.last@example.edu in our LE now where First.Last@example.edu used to work, even though in our Entra ID our email addresses, UPNs, and primary proxy addresses all remain mixed-case, First.Last@example.edu.
I'm interested to learn if others have experienced this same change in Course Connector behaviour. Thank you.
