Event showing in week view but missing from day view
Hello everyone,
I'm an admin, and I've recently noticed an issue with the calendar. For one of the quizzes, the due and end dates do not appear on the personal calendar when viewing by day. However, they do appear in these places:
- On the course home page
- On the calendar when viewing by week or month
The quiz settings do include the option to add availability dates to the calendar, so I believe that part is configured correctly. The quiz is set to be due on Nov 2 at 11:59 pm.
This is visible on the course home page calendar:
It also shows up on my calendar when I view by weeks:
But it doesn't show up when I view by day:
Does anyone know if there's a setting I may be missing, or could this be a glitch? Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Could you please confirm if other activity events show in your personal calendar when filtered by day? Does this affect only the quiz events? It could possibly be a sync issue in the outlook.

So far itโs just that one quiz not showing up in my calendar when filtered by day. All other events appear as expected. That said, this seems to go beyond just my account. Our team has received emails from a few students saying that some of their assignments are also not showing up in the day view of the calendar, and they aren't able to receive notifications regarding these assignments in their Pulse app.
Please let me know if there's a fix to the sync issue.

I looked into this issue further and found we have a similar ongoing defect recorded under 02085932, where if the due date is set to Sunday after 11 PM, it no longer shows in the 'View by day' calendar. Can you please check and confirm if the due dates are set to Sunday after 11 PM?
If it's not, may I suggest that you raise a support ticket so we can further investigate, please?

Thank you for looking into this! Yes, both due date and end date were set to Sun 11:59 PM. Maybe that's the reason.. But something weird is that I've set all the quizzes to be due at 11:59 PM, and only this one was affected. I can still see the due date of other quizzes when I view the calendar by day.
I wasn't able to find the record number in both known and fixed issue sheets, but I'll submit a support ticket in case this one is different. Thank you for your help again!
