Accessing Product Idea Exchange

I want to suggest new D2L features, which I understand is done in the Product Idea Exchange. When I click on that option from the resources menu, I'm presented with the following error message: "Unavailable Quicklink. The External Learning Tool is not available." I get the same result if I go to the D2L Academy home page and click the link there.

The page with the error has a heading titled "Product Idea Exchange" but when I click on that heading, I'm presented with the following error message: "Not authorized. Error: Not authorized. You are not authorized to view the page you are trying to reach. If you believe you encountered this page in error, and that you should have access to the resource you are trying to access, contact technical support."

I looked through previous questions and discussions about this issue, and I saw some directing people to this page: https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/5459-community-faqs#i-can-t-connect-to-some-courses-in-d2l-academy-ex-pie. I followed the instructions there, but nothing changed.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thank you for your question in our Community. You ended up in the right place for support at the FAQ you linked. Based on what I can see from our end, your User account is still not registered properly to allow you access to PIE.

Firstly, may I ask that you try to update your user account via the steps in the article again?

Please note that you must select your organization from the dropdown menu as outlined in Step 4. Simply typing your organization into the field (regardless of if it matches the listed option from the dropdown) does not complete your registration correctly.

You mention in your question that you have access to D2L Academy but not PIE, when normally if your signup process is invalid you should have access to neither. Therefore, we may require further steps to help address your issue and we appreciate your patience.
