Formatting in

I'm using. "edit properties in place"to offer descriptions of each reading assignment, and I am having a hard time getting the format consistent. Sometimes there are tabs and sometimes not. Sometimes there are hanging-indent sentences and sometimes they are simply left-justified. But I can't get them all just left-justified.

I suspect part of it is that I have imported some of the text from my Word document syllabus, and perhaps it's dragged along formatting codes with it. But even when I cut everything, and start afresh the weird formatting continues. It's more of an aesthetic issue, but it still bugs me. My preference would be for each entry to look like For 10/17….

sHey @ekent@skidmore.edu! I just got through doing this myself for the course I am teaching, so I totally appreciate the desire to have it looking consistent and good - "For 10/17" looks perfect 😍.

There are a couple of things you can try…you can paste all the descriptions as "plain text" and then format according to how you want it to look OR you take a peek at the HTML source code for the pages and you will likely see things look a little different for those indented items and you can delete the code that tells the text to behave that way. It will look something like the screenshots below that show clicking on the source code button and then deleting the "indent" code.
