Assignments - hide from user function

Hi Team,

I created Assignments but now need to hide them from specific people on the classlist.

I set the assignments to ‘hide from users’’ option, but I can still see it when I impersonate someone in the classlist that I do not want to see the assignment.

Please can you help?

Thanks for reaching out to the Brightspace Community.

Unless a specific role has the permission to "See and Manage Assignment Submission Folders" in the "Assignments" area, they will not have access to see hidden assignments. You may need to check on the role that these users currently have and check which permissions have been assigned to that role with your LMS administrator.

Also, when you say that you want to hide them from specific people, have you tried using the "Availability Dates and Conditions" > "Special Access", within the edit Assignment area (if available to you). You can choose to show a particular Assignment folder to only a select group of users.
