Is there a way to change who can see system links in the nav bar?

In my nav bar, I've added the portfolio link. However, this link is not visible to students, only admin/teachers. Is there a way to change the availability of a system link like this? I know how to change the availability of custom links, but system links are not visible in that list on the Navigation and Themes page.

    Hello @Jillian.E.47 ,

Thank you for reaching out Brightspace Community.

You're correct that system links, such as Portfolio, do not appear in the Navbar to all roles such as Learner . By default, learners can access the Portfolio tool by clicking their username on the navbar and selecting "My Portfolio." This link is always visible to learners and cannot be disabled.

If you'd like to add a direct Portfolio link to the main navbar for learners by following the steps below

    --Go to Edit Navbar.
    --Select Add Links.
    --Click Create Custom Link.
    --Set the name (e.g., "Portfolio").
    --For the URL, enter: /d2l/folio/main/Index
--Save and add it to the navbar.

This will ensure learners have quick access to the Portfolio tool directly from the navbar.

    I hope it helps!

    Thanks and Regards,
    Bharti
