in Quiz, Description is repeated on consecutive screens

when in Course Content, before clicking the Start Quiz button, you see a Description of the quiz (quiz1.png) - once you click Start Quiz, a second screen appears that repeats the Description (quiz2.png) - is there a way to skip over this repetition of the Description, and have the user go right into the quiz w/o clicking twice?

    In Brightspace, the behavior you're describing, where users first see the quiz description in the Content area, then again after clicking Start Quiz (on the Quiz Start screen), is the default system behavior.

    Unfortunately, this two-step launch cannot currently be bypassed through the standard Brightspace interface.

    Possible Workaround:

    1. Remove Description from Quiz Setup

    • If the same description is used in both Content and the Quiz Start screen, consider removing the quiz description from the Quiz settings under the “Description” tab, and just use the content module text. This avoids the user seeing the same paragraph twice, though they’ll still click twice.

    2. Submit Feature Request

    • If this double-display of the description negatively impacts user experience significantly for your use case (e.g., certification flow), you can submit a Brightspace Product Idea Exchange (PIE) suggestion via the D2L Community to propose a streamlined quiz entry option.
