Classlist E-mail Function

My question is if there is a way to disable the "Send E-mail" function for Students in the Classlist within Brightspace, just from a few specific courses? Or is the best route to remove the Classlist tab from the Navigation Bar to not have the E-mail option available?

Hi, after reviewing https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/4758-classlist-and-classlist-statistics-permissions , https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/4473-email-permissions%2C , and https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/4787-classlist-configuration-variables , I don't believe there is a way to disable the Send Email button for a few specific courses. Note that even if you remove access to the Classlist from the navbar, students would still be able to email each other by hovering over their name (for example, in the Discussions area) and clicking the Send Email option that appears.

My recommendation would be to create a new Learner role without any Email permissions or access to the Email tool, and enroll users as that specific role only for those specific courses for which you do not want email access.
