May I use Brightspace as my LMS for my own web application?

Hello community.

I'm trying to build an educative course for my university and I don't want to place it on Brightspace, I want to make it as external tool. There's a way I could use Brightspace as a bridge between Educaplay/Kahoot to my web application so I can save the results and update them on my own database?

Thank you for reaching out to the D2L Brightspace Community! My apologies if I may have not understood your question but it seems you would not like to add your course to Brightspace but still want to use it as a bridge between Educaplay/Kahoot and your own web application for tracking results.

Using Brightspace APIs for User Data: If you still want to pull student details from Brightspace (e.g., names, IDs) while keeping everything external, you can use Brightspace APIs to retrieve this information and sync it with your system.

Since you don’t plan to place the course in Brightspace, otherwise I would have suggested LTI integration provided Educaplay/Kahoot supports LTI 1.3, you can integrate them with Brightspace. This would allow user data to pass through Brightspace and potentially be accessed by your web application.
