When will the new Quiz Evaluation Experience apply to interface within the Question Tab?
Hi folks. The updated experience is visible only in the Users and Attempts Tab. Commonly recommended workflows at our institution refer to grading per Question. (Supports hiding user name and updating in one place - so its an easier teaching/training message)
Our testing finds that users do not see the new experience option - or if enabled - the new experience within that tab. This is not a deal -breaker however we are concerned what happens when grading a Written Response question type that has a Rubric attached.
Obviously to support WR with Rubrics seamlessly - we have to have the Questions Tab support the new experience. And if not - how will an instructor using this Question Tab workflow know that a WR question has a Rubric to evaluate in the first place? As it's our institutions best practice to evaluate via the question tab we are just concerned that graders (who could be facilitators -and not always familiar with the quiz structure) may not see the rubric, and just add a score (leaving students seeing a score - but no rubric filled in)
The timing of this impacts our planning for when this becomes the only experience. We are assuming this is scheduled for 20.25.06 Release as this is when its set to "ON" prior to it being the only experience after 20.25.07 release.
When can we expect to see the updates or if its not yet planned, how are the team planning to handle identifying that a rubric exists for WR Type questions for graders in the Questions Tab.

Hi @Marty.M.796 - I know we discussed this at a meeting earlier this week but wanted to respond here as well for anyone else who is following this thread.
You are correct - the new Quiz Evaluation Experience is not yet available on the Questions tab (what is sometimes referred to the Grade by Question workflow). And therefore the option to evaluate rubrics on WR questions is not available in the Grade by Question workflow (yet). We are looking into the possibility of adding a notification to the workflow so that when an instructor comes across a WR question they are told the recommended path is to grade from the new Quiz Evaluation Experience (from the Users or Attempts tab) so that they are able to see and grade with the Rubric.
Also - we are considering the Grade by Question workflow for uplifting to the new experience - but it hasn't yet made it to our roadmap (so unfortunately no timeline to share).

Hi @Kareem.S.4837 - yes - the new Quiz Evaluation Experience is only available on the Users and Attempts tab. If users are not seeing the option when grading via these tabs please review the d2l.Tools.Activities.CEQuizzesOptIn configuration variable as it controls the display of the new experience.
As mentioned above - we are considering uplifting the Grade by Question (Questions tab) in the future - but don't currently have a timeline to share.
