For all of the files I've created there is a big blanks space at the end of the published file.
When I've finished using the html editor to input my lesson and materials and save the file, there's a large empty space at the end before the editing options etc. at the end. The extra space isn't visible in the html editor, only after the file is saved/published. The blank space is insanely long and confusing for learners. Any help is appreciated.
This is a screenshot of the very bottom of the blank space as well as the end of the lesson.

Hi Birdie!
Thanks for reaching out the the Brightspace Community.
Question: Could you switch from an instructor view to a learner view and see if the blank space is actually visible to the learners? You can use the article below to perform this action:
If you're still seeing the space even when in learner view, feel free to reach back out!

Yes, the space is there in learner view as well.

Based on the description, the issue might be related to the HTML code, specifically elements that include vertical/horizontal spacing, which could be causing this behavior. Is this the only content where you’ve noticed the issue?
Could you check the content's source code editor for any HTML or CSS elements that might be contributing to the observed spacing? The screenshot below shows where to find the source code editor in the BrightSpace Editor.
Thank you

I've noticed it in files I've created, all of which have imported materials like images, videos, etc.
I don't know what to look for in the source code, but here is a screenshot of the bottom of the code if you know what to look for. I am by no means a tech expert so I don't know why image spacing in the html editor would create a huge space like that.

Thank you for the screenshot, it is appreciated
Based on the information provided, I didn’t notice anything obvious. Could you confirm how the content is being created? Is it being developed directly in Brightspace, or are you copying and pasting from a source file (e.g., a Word document) into the BrightSpace Editor?
Thanks

I usually create content inside of Brightspace using the Creator+ tools, but there are some imported aspects like embedded YouTube videos and images from my computer.

Thank you for confirming, @Birdie.H.9409
Based on what you’re describing, I think it would be a good idea to have a support agent take a closer look at things.
Your first step is to connect with your school or organization’s Help Desk to create a support request.
If you’re not sure how to do this, email us at questions@community.d2l.com with the name of your school or organization and we can provide the contact details.
