My apple pencil used to let me write on homework. Now it will only highlight or highlight with light gray writing. What setting changed and how do I get it back to being a writing utensil.

I tested this on our internal site and I'm able to write or add lines using an Apple Pencil. To write:

Not being stupid, that is exactly what I had been doing. I then went to our IT person who also tried the exact same thing, over and over. The line will work. The pencil will NOT. It leaves a pale square highlight with pale writing beneath it.

Based on what you’re describing, I think it would be a good idea to have a support agent take a closer look at things.
