Students cannot see discussion forum
Hello. I have an instructor who created a discussion forum with no restrictions, release conditions, start dates, or end dates. I can see it fine as an admin and as the instructor but the students cannot see it. I even tried recreating the forum and that doesn't show either. I went into two different test shells and created new forums in both. I still cannot see them as a student. I can edit an existing forum and the change is visible to students. I can post a new thread in an existing forum and it shows up for the student.
Is there something going on with creating discussion forums or did something change that I'm not aware of?

@Rica.B.774 Does the forum have a topic in it? Students can't see empty forums.

@Jennifer.W.973 Thank you. For some reason I thought that the forum itself could still be seen even if the topic is hidden. Problem solved, thanks again.
