Do quiz statistics carry across sections

Question

Hello,

I have several continuous courses that has ongoing enrollment. Some are on-demand while others have cohorts. I want to be able to keep a single version of the course so that I can monitor exam question statistics over time. If I organize cohorts into sections, will the exam statistics combine data from all sections?

Quiz statistics are tied to the Course Offering that the quiz was created in, and the enrollment of the students in the course. If you unenroll or make users inactive, then their data for the Quiz would become hidden and no longer reflected in the overall statistics (you can bring the data back by re-activating the user/enrolling them into the course again). If you wanted to add numerous Sections into the same Course Offering, as long as they are all making attempts in the same Quiz, then the statistics will all be together.
