Can I as an instructor display discussion posts and any replies to that post at the same time?

    If I understand your question correctly, you are attempting to display a discussion post and any subsequent replies to that post. If so, you can do that by viewing the topic in grid view. To access it go to Discussions > Click the down arrow next to the appropriate discussion topic > Select View Topic in Grid View.

    This will allow you to see each post and all of the replies in a grid format:
