changing individual discussion topics to group discussion topics

Hi!

I have a whole bunch of discussions that were set up originally and I would like to convert them to group discussions. I have set up the group already, and it allowed me to make one of the topics a group discussion as I was setting up the group. I would like to do the same for all the other discussion topics, but I can't figure out how to do that.

So, since you have already created your groups, you can restrict your existing discussion topics to specific group categories/groups by accessing the 'Manage Restrictions' when editing the desired discussion topic:

Once you click, you will be presented with two options:

1) Restrict Topic: Users in the selected groups/sections can view this topic and all of its threads.

2) Restrict topic and separate the threads: Users in the selected groups/sections can view this topic but will only see threads from their group/section.

Then you may select either an entire Group Category or selected Groups inside the same or different Group Categories.
