Re: How to edit the page templates
Hello Kate,
If you go to Admin Tools (the gear icon), you should be able to find a tool called 'Public Files' or 'Shared Files'/'Organization Files'.
In either of these tools, a file called HTML-Template-Library should exist. Inside the folder, you will find the HTML-Templates-V5 folder > css > custom.css
Kindly let me know if that helps or if you need further guidance.
Re: How to edit the page templates
Hi Kate, I'm a Courseware Developer with the Learning Services team at D2L.
Typically our video wrapper styles are applied automatically with the .courseware-video-wrapper class. You can change those styles on a page-by-page basis, or you can overwrite the styles for all videos using the HTML template.
You can change the styles on a single page by adding a <style> tag inside the html <head>. It would likely look something like this:
<style>
.courseware-video-wrapper {
background-color: none !important;
border-bottom: none !important;
}
</style>
To change the video styles across the whole HTML template, you can navigate to Public Files, then navigate to the folder HTML-Template-Library/HTML-Templates-V5/css/custom.css. Inside custom.css, you can add your custom css styles which will safely override the existing template styles. It would look something like this:
.courseware-video-wrapper {
background-color: none !important;
border-bottom: none !important;
}

Re: Short answer question with a number range
Hi @Sue.S.4,
May I suggest trying the following regular expression in the answer field: ^(1[0-2]|[5-9])$ This may help ensure that only valid responses between 5 and 12 are accepted.
For context, here's how it works:
^and$are anchors that ensure the match applies to the entire string, from start to finish.1[0-2]matches the numbers 10, 11, and 12.[5-9]matches the numbers 5 through 9.
This expression will successfully match any number from 5 to 12, while excluding anything outside that range.
Thanks,
Rusha
Copy Components Update
Re: Copy Components Update
Has this been updated at all? I am also looking to duplicate content elements in the same course. For example, if I create a discussion with some standard instructions and just want to change the prompt in the next module, is this something I can do? As Anisha said in her post, I was also able to duplicate an individual label, discussion, assignment, etc., and then edit as needed.
Should I go to the Idea Exchange and add my vote for this feature :)
