Thank you for responding. The instructions you gave were from the instructor view. As an admin I was looking for the instructions for our instance as a school.
Cannot search "Discussions" + confining "tag" limitation

I can filter but why can't I search?
Also, why am I not allowed to create my own tags? Apparently I can only use D2L-defined tags. As far as I can tell, clicking on "Show popular tags" doesn't really show only the "popular" tags; it shows ALL available tags…which are pretty limited and include a tag with a typo: "Quiz QuestionLibraary". On a related note, please include "UX" or "User Experience" in the list.
Last, please consider including pedagogical tags (e.g. student interaction, self-directed learning, communicative learning, flipped classroom, group projects). The majority of existing tags relate to the tools and technology. But pedagogy should lead technology not the other way around.

Yes Brightspace supports the import for the following formats (in addition to other course package formats):
- IMS Common Cartridge 1.1, 1.2, 1.3
- IMS Thin Common Cartridge 1.3
- IMS Content Packaging 1.2
- QTI 1.2, QTI 2.1 (Partial)

How do instructors know about Brightspace Community and its offerings, features, etc.? It's a valuable resource but I fear many/most Brightspace instructors are unaware of its presence.

From my understanding, you are looking to update an auto-graded quiz so that the grade items show to be graded by an instructor user. This appears to be a feature request at this time. You can connect with your Brightspace/LMS administrator to submit a feature request through our PIE Community!

Brightspace opens first topic in a unit, instead of the unit itself
We have a course where the content is structured such as:
- Unit A (has content)
- Lesson A (has content)
- HTML Topic 1 (has content)
- HTML Topic 2 (has content)
- HTML Topic 3 (has content)
- Lesson A (has content)
- Unit B (has content)
- HTML Topic 4 (has content)
When a participant visits the course and they click on the Visual Table of Contents to visit:
- Unit A, the Content tool opens HTML Topic 1. (Unexpected)
- Unit B, the Content tool opens Unit B. (Expected)
I believe this is by design… But can someone confirm? Short of reorganizing Unit A so that there's an HTML topic before the Lesson, Is there a way to ensure that Unit A opens at Unit A?
