Re: Drawing Responses on an iPad Using Brightspace Quizzes
Hi Emma
Presently there isn't a way to capture images/attachments as Quiz question answers. It's a neat idea though.
This could be done as part of submitting an Assignment (as the attachment) but I would recommend proposing this as a Feature Request in the Product Idea Exchange.
I hope that's helpful.

Re: Showing OrgDeifnedId to users
Good morning Antonie,
Thank you for asking this question.
1» You can add the orgdeninedId to the class list and make it visible for students
2» Are the students allowed to view their progress? If yes, Then they can see their orgdefined id there
Here is Org Defined Id
I hope this will help.
Thank you
Re: Intelligent Agent for Final Grade Below a C
If your Grade book is set up to display a grade scheme symbol, such as A, B, or C, then each letter represents a performance range that a student has achieved. I recommend you first verify what range each letter of your grading scheme represents. In the example below, D will be assigned for scores between 0% and 25%, C for scores between 26% to 50%, etc (see below):
- You can check your Grade book scheme in the "Scheme" tab of your Grade book:
With those score ranges in mind, you can set up the desired release conditions accordingly. Using the example above, if you would like an Intelligent Agent to trigger a message to students who performed below C, you would set up its release condition as follows:
Criteria
< =
Grade
25%
I hope this is helpful.
Re: Word Count Discussion Tool
Check with your Brightspace administrator to see if the d2l.Tools.Discuss.TextStats.DisplayWordCount config variable is set to ON. This is what allows the display of word count in discussions.
Re: Accessing Class Progress after the end of semester
Hey @Jane.Swanson9790,
Thanks for connecting with us here in the Brightspace Community!
The class progress tool does make everything disappear for courses that have ended. But if you change the end date to a future date it comes back and you can get the data you were looking for and then end the course again.
To stay up to date about how we are taking your feedback to continuously improve your Brightspace Experience, please follow the PIE item number D951 User Progress Data After Course Is Closed which is currently under planning. Additionally, might I recommend upvoting the idea and adding additional comments to the PIE board so our product experts can learn how this might benefit your use case.
I hope this helps.
Re: Hi Guys,
Need your help configuring the look of our Brightspace instance. Please see ...
Hi Kelvin,
If it's the navbar color you're looking to change, then this is done by changing the Primary Color in the navbar's Theme. In the navbar, there is a menu button in the corner that provides quick access. If the navbar is shared, you will need to either Edit the Shared Navbar (provided you have permission) or Customize This Navbar if you want to break away from the shared navbar in order to make changes that only affect this course.
On the other hand, if you're trying to switch from the new content experience in your first screenshot to the Lessons experience shown in the second one, then there are three relevant config variables:
- d2l.Tools.Content.IsLessonsEnabled - This must be ON
- d2l.Tools.Content.UseLessonsExperience - To turn it on for a particular org unit
- d2l.Tools.Content.NewLearnerExperience - To also enable it for students
