Portfolio and Assignments

Question

Is anyone currently using Brightspace Portfolio with the assignment settings  "Add Own Assignment to Portfolio" enabled?

I'm testing this option and am not seeing any difference in the student submission experience. From the student's perspective, the assignment submission process appears unchanged.

If you've used either of these settings, could you share:

What students are expected to see when this option is enabled?

If students need to manually add the assignment, what does that process look like?

I'd appreciate any insights or examples from your experience. Thank you!

Thank you for reaching out through the Community!!

Based on the "Add Own Assignment to Portfolio" setting, you should see the "Add to Portfolio" button on the student's View Feedback page or Submission Details page. If I understand correctly, you may be checking the Unevaluated Submissions page.

Please note that this option typically becomes available only after the assignment submission has been evaluated.
