Updating SCORM Content in Brightspace
Hi D2L Community, regarding SCORM content in Brightspace:
1) If we need to put out a new version of an existing SCORM file, it seems like the new version can only be updated to the user who originally did the upload - is this accurate? Is there any other way for non-SCORM owners to upload a new version to an existing file?
2) If it is only the original uploader who is able to update the SCORM file, can the SCORM ownership be transferred?
Thank you.

Hi Yi Yan.L,
Transferring ownership of asset in the Media Library is done by selecting the file(s) and using the "Transfer Ownership" action from the menu. This allows users to reassign ownership of assets to another user.
This action can be performed by the asset owner, a Brightspace administrator, or any other user with the necessary role permisisons. See If required the D2L Support team can also assist to make the change through a support case.
After being made the owner of the asset, or if you are in a Brightspace role with permissions to manage assests in the media library, you can then upload a new version.
Hope this helps!
