Hello,

Use case: To award a student who submit a quiz (with a few MC questions) and achieve a Learning Objective met >= 80% threshold.

Steps: I created an award with a release condition to a Learning Objective, and I also created a quiz > Evaluation & Feedback > Manage Learning Objective > associate a few questions and Add assessment of Quiz Score and ticked The activity is required to complete learning objective, and define the Overall Threshold >= 80%

However, the badge do not award to a student even though s/he met the threshold. Can you let me know any step I missed or need to configure?

The figures above show a student had already achieved the Learning Objective, and the Release Condition of badge is set as "the Learning Objective is achieved".

Thanks

    Hello @Colt.K.2845

Thank you for reaching out to the Brightspace Community.

Based on your description, I think it would be a good idea to create a support case with more details regarding the course and the student, as it appears this issue requires more investigation.

We look forward to hearing from you through the support case.

    Kind regards,

    Ashwin

Thanks @Ashwin.R.60 , we're still in the implementation stage and no support contact / CSM is assigned yet. As you know I'm designing the streamlined workflow and structure right now, while the regional implementation consultant advised me that Competency tool will be obsoleted soon so any opinion (around Outcomes tool) and advice above are highly appreciated.

    Hello @Colt.K.2845

Here is the article related to Competency tool end of life:

    https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/18089-comparing-competencies-and-learning-outcomes?searchString=learning%20outcome%20end%20of%20life

The features within the Learning Outcomes tool have some overlap with the Competencies tool. While the ultimate objective is to retire the Competency tool in favor of the Learning Outcomes tool, there remain some functional areas that D2L is working to address in our roadmap.

The Competency tool will not move to the End of Life status until a migration utility is available to assist clients who use the Competency tool to migrate their courses to the Learning Outcomes Tool.

    Regards

    Ashwin
