New Quiz Evaluation Experience

Hello,

My name is Brayden — I intern as a Support Service Desk over at Central New Mexico Community College (CNM). First, a little bit of back story:

I have a colleague here at CNM who also works at another college… both colleges use Brightspace. Currently, the New Quiz Evaluation Experience is only in our DEV environment — my colleague reached out to me and asked the following question, in regard to the prod environment at her other school (the school which is experiencing the following):

"We've noticed that mandatory and bonus written response questions - specifically, written response questions which have no response (left empty or blank) when the quiz is submitted - are left out of the new quiz evaluation experience. Is this something we should be concerned about, seeing as we can hand-change grades for everything else (i.e. multiple choice questions, short answer questions, etc.)?"

I did some testing in our - CNM's - DEV environment, and it looks to me like she is spot on. I don't see an issue with it, personally, because it looks to me like less work; but, I could not find a way to reverse this without theoretically reverting to a previous patch… which I don't know how to do.

Also, I don't have a definitive answer for my colleague at this point, which is what she and her colleagues are looking for - especially when it comes to Brightspace. If I could please have clarification that this is, indeed, an expected result of the new update so that I may pass it along to my colleague here at CNM, then I would be very much appreciative — I would also very much appreciate any other feedback that I'm missing when I'm testing in DEV.
