How do I gain access to Brightspace using my school link?

I log into my student portal and click on Brightspace but it keeps giving me an error message.

    It seems that you are trying to access your Brightspace Instance (e-learning platform). It depends on how your organization has set up and is managing log in credentials. Your organization may have a Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication method implemented, where you can access all the sites in your organization using a single SSO portal. https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/32005-how-to-access-my-brightspace-courses

    We recommends that you contact your system administrator or IT Support department if you want to:

    • Obtain a new username and password to log in to Brightspace
    • Recover your existing username or password
