Why isn’t the xAPI score of 0 being reported in the grade book?

Hello,

I have published the xAPI-compliant e-learning modules in Rise 360. When learners score 0, this mark does not appear in the grade book. However, the score is clearly shown in the SCORM report. Why does Brightspace not recognise the score of 0 (fail) in the grade book?

Based on your description, it appears that the score of 0 is captured in the SCORM/xAPI reporting but is not reflected in the Brightspace grade book. To determine whether this is expected behaviour or a configuration issue, we would need to review the specific configuration of the course and content package.

Could you please create a support case and provide the following details?

• Course URL or Course Offering ID
• The affected xAPI/Rise 360 module
• The associated grade item (if applicable)
• An example learner who received a score of 0 but whose grade did not appear in the grade book

Once we have this information, we can investigate the behaviour further and determine why Brightspace is not displaying the score of 0 in the grade book.
