Schedule module to open at on a specific date - make visible or invisible?

I would like to make a module visible on a certain date. I know I can set the start date and release conditions. However, I'm not sure if I should set the Hidden/Visible toggle to hidden or visible when setting the date. In other words, should I set it to visible, set the start date, and then the module will only be visible after that date? Or should I set it to hidden, set the start date, and then it will switch to visible after that date? I hope that makes sense. Thanks!

Great Question!

Set the toggle to Visible and set the start date. This is the correct approach for date-based release. The start date will restrict access until that date arrives, at which point the module opens up automatically.
