SCORM packages can absolutely track learner progress within Brightspace, as they communicate progress data back to Brightspace via the SCORM Runtime API. Depending on the SCORM version, the package can report:

• Completion status
• Score
• Time spent
• Progress measure
• Interactions (quiz responses)
• Objectives

You can review the activity for each SCORM object and user via Content > Course Options - View Reports > SCORM reports.

The SCORM reports display information related to:

• Topic Summary (attempts, completions, pass rate, avg score, avg time)
• User Summary (per-learner progress)
• Interactions and Objectives detail views

Additionally, SCORM scores can be pushed to the Brightspace gradebook if a grade item is associated with the SCORM topic.
