Need detailed instructions please for copying existing course into new semester place

Please have a look at this page which contains instructions for copying components from one Course Offering to a new one: https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/16771-import-export-or-copy-course-components
Since the course already exists, you'll want to focus on the section titled "Copy course components", using the option Copy Components from another Org Unit.
