Is there a way to move files and/or rename folders in Manage Files without breaking links on content pages?

    Hello @Jeffrey.J.9789,

    Yes, files and folders can be moved or renamed in Manage Files, however caution is recommended if those files are already referenced in the Content area.

    According to Brightspace documentation, moving files that are currently referenced as topics in Content may result in broken links:

    “Use caution when moving files and folders if they are referenced in the Content area. Moving a file that is currently in use as a topic might result in a broken link.”

    Because of this, it is generally recommended to organize files in Manage Files before linking them in Content, or review and update links after moving files that are already in use.
