Setting up a x completed of y number of assignments grade book

Hi there, I am assisting with creating a Brigthspace page for a summer research program. Undergraduate students are required to complete 4 professional development sessions synchronously or asynchronously. It is a "choose your own adventure" pass/fail completion mark. The asynchronous sessions are hosted in VoiceThreads. I have created a Content section for the VoiceThreads, they are all linked under a category in the Grade section. It's not clear to me how to indicate that only 4 of the x VoiceThreads need to be completed for a passing grade. Currently, it looks like students will need to complete all of the available y sessions to have this marked as completed. Does anyone have suggestions on how to set this up? Thanks in advance.
