How to change portfolio evidence approval?

We are a k-12 school district and we are set to have portfolio evidence needs to be approved before it enters a portfolio. We would like it changed so when a student wants to put it into the portfolio, we will not need approval from the teacher.

    Thank you for the question.

    You can accomplish this with the config variable - d2l.Tools.Folio.LearnerControlsEvidenceSharing.

    Turning on the config variable disables the approval workflow and gives students the choice of whether they want to share or not share evidence with their instructor.

    That is correct, in your case, you would like to turn that variable ON.

    Turning it OFF makes the Instructors responsible for approving the evidence uploaded. Turning it ON allows for Learners to submit them without Instructor's approval.
