Supporting Accomodations in Brightspace
Is there a way in Brightspace to create a centralized, student-level accommodation record that automatically follows a student into all of their courses, so that instructors can see the same accommodation information in each course without relying on separate accommodation letters or emails?
More specifically, we are wondering if Brightspace supports an org-level accommodation profile for a student that can be maintained by Access Services and surfaced consistently to instructors across courses, rather than applying accommodations separately in each activity or course. Any ideas or workarounds would be appreciated!

At this time, Brightspace does not have a global accommodation tool where you can input specific settings at the organization level and have it cascade out to any course that user is enrolled.
I do see there's an entry in our Product Idea Exchange, HERE, but at this time it's not under consideration. I would still suggest that you add your vote and comments.
Another potential option for your institution would be to set up API's to apply accommodations for a user. Some information regarding that can be found HERE, in our Valence documentation.
