More detailed view of checklist progress for Instructors?
One of our faculty would like to replace a paper-based checklist-type assessment (it currently looks kind of like a rubric) and would like to adapt it for Brightspace using the Checklist tool.
We believe we can adapt the checklist to suit the purpose but would like to know if Instructor users can have a more granular view if student progress with a checklist. From what we know, Instructors view student progress in a checklist from the Class Progress in Course Admin.
This view doesn't display what the student has completed. The Instructors need to be able to see the student's checklist and what has been completed rather than this generic progress bar-type view.
We're looking for something that looks more like an Instructor view of what the student sees:
Is there some means of accomplishing this or is it currently the subject of a feature enhancement request?

I see what you mean.
I personally don't see a way for Instructors to accomplish this themselves.
A Brightspace administrator could try running a Data Hub report… perhaps the data set called "Checklist Completions"…
However, it produces a csv file full of technospeak that would require considerable interpretation before it would be readable by a normal human being.
I haven't searched the Product Idea Exchange and don't know whether there's anything in there related to this. -

Thanks for reaching out regarding your question on whether instructors are able to see a more granular view of the student's completion with a checklist. At this time, within the Class Progress tool, you are only able to see whether a user completed a checklist and how many items the have completed. It does not display which items were completed and have yet to be completed.
We have the The Checklist Completions Brightspace Data Set that returns the completion status of each checklist item: https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/4523-checklist-data-sets#checklist-completions
You may use the above dataset to find further details about the Checklists, but this would be useful from an administrative perspective and not an instructor perspective.
