Can students see AI reports with Turn It In

Greetings,

Are students able to see the AI report if you give them the option to review the Turn It In similarity check in the Assignment tool?

    After detailed investigation, the results indicate that, at this time, the AI detection indicator remains an instructor-only feature. Currently, this functionality is not accessible to students.

    As this feature is fully managed by Turnitin, we would recommend reaching out directly to Turnitin Support or your Turnitin Account Representative if you would like additional information regarding their roadmap or potential future enhancements.

    Hi @Karl.C.186,

    Thanks for reaching out. Yes, while setting the assignment if the instructor enables the option “Allow learners to see similarity scores in their submission folder” and sets “Generate Similarity Reports for student submissions” to Generate report immediately, students will be able to view the Turnitin similarity report after submitting their work.

    Hi, Although it is correct that students can see the similarity report as noted above, the Similarity report does not include the AI report. The AI report is restricted to instructors. In order for students to see it, the instructor would have to manually provide a PDF copy to students.
